The majority of my experience as a designer is rooted in food and beverage. Hence a number of my portfolio pieces show food photography, menu designs and branding for restaurants. I’ve also got many years working as a server, bartender and cook which majorly reinforces my unique insights and edge in designing for restaurants. The Fluff
I’ll give you the abridged version of the places I’ve lived: Born in Alaska, moved to Oregon for a bit, moved to Colorado for a while, lived in Thailand for 10 years and then finally moved to Phoenix. There is a lot of bouncing between places, but I don’t want to bore you with those details! While in Thailand, I completed my degree in graphic design and ate bugs because I legitimately thought they were tasty... especially the Duang Saku worms. Scratches is the name of the bird in my photo. He’s 28 years old and is pretty much the family heirloom at this point. He occupies my shoulder most of the time. He didn’t get to go to Thailand with me, but we are now reunited and all is good in the world.
